Sir Oliver Lodge was the first physicist to truly bridge the gap between science and spirituality.
A contemporary of Nikola Tesla, he watched with great excitement the work that Tesla and Steinmetz were doing and they were admirers of his work linking spirituality and science. In particular Lodge’s work with the detection and measurement of the aether and it’s drift was captivating to all the great victorian scientists.
Nikola Tesla studied the coils of Sir Oliver lodge and took them far farther than anyone dreamed, turning them into immense tools for the transmission and conversion of electricity into amazing new forms.
