Farnsworth & the Suppression of Fusion

Philo T Farnsworth II was one of American’s greatest inventors.

He invented the worlds first television when he was 17 years old, beating out RCA, the worlds biggest radio corporation, something that no one ever thought possible. The story of Farnsworth is the story of the suppression of energy technologies in America. No conspiracy theory, just business as usual. This is an important thing to understand and thus the story of Farnsworth is important.

Wallstreet threatened to kill ITT’s stock should they continue to fund their golden boy Farnsworth. It worked and funding was cut and ITT’s CEO was replaced with one that turned ITT into a holding company for everything from fast food to rental cars rather than a technology company. The threat and all future threats from ITT were eliminated. Those that continue to use the phrase “conspiracy theory” should study corporate history and see that it is a daily occurrence.

Filo was considered up there with Tesla, Steinmetz and Armstrong, one of the pioneers of radio.

Eric Dollard was adopted by the Farnsworth family after beating Philo III in a boasting match. He was given full access to Philo’s notebooks, which were later stolen. Eric learned alot about the Farnsworth family history and it’s tragic end. The entire family ended up destitute.

It is used as a handy source of neutrons, but no-one has found a way to get more energy out of it overall than is used in making the process work. Just look at the setup in the video, and consider that it requires deuterium as its feedstock, which itself takes a large amount of energy to purify.

If a fusor could use common hydrogen then that would be a huge advance. In Eric’s account of the fusor that he found at Philo’s house, he does not say whether it was the deuterium burning type that we see in the video, or did it use some other fuel such as common hydrogen.
